A memory torn like a leaf

As I search with my feet

Standing in front of the door I look behind

I go out to see who's throwing them away

Just seeing a shadow of the person
Peeking out of my bedroom window
I'd notice a big smile on his face
I'd hear him say words like
"Separate!, ready!, shoot!"
As he threw the papers
When he notices I'm looking at him
He gets happy and says to me.

As he threw leaves at me
In the shape of flowers, all pink
Then I rushed up to my room
And there was no one there
My bed was tidy
But no pillows
I turn around
And when I look out the window
I see all the tidy sheets and bits say.
"You are free."
"You are free!"
"You are free!"
I didn't get the message
Until I went down to the bathroom
And in the mirror
I saw my eyes full of tears
I was happy
It's a reflection of my tears
And I decided to sleep

With the door closed
In the dark of the night
With dreams in my eyes
I woke up from my nap
And felt the warm weather
As I saw the stars in the sky
As time went on
